Whenever I entered the room and Uncle Johnny saw me as a child and thru-out my adulthood he would always smile and,in his own special way, would call out "chelle---baaaaabe". No matter the age, it always made me giggle and smile! Just sitting here, I can hear his voice in my head. He dubbed that life long name for me with most of my family members, but only Uncle Johnny emphasized it in the way he did. I loved all my childhood visits to his house. He was SUPER strict and scared me a lot, lol, but he also had a soft spot too (if he liked you). He, along with Aunt Roe, raised 4 fiercely strong daughters. I will always cherish those childhood memories going to Uncle Johnnys house in Lester! It was the BEST! Rest easy Uncle John. I will always love you.
