Aunt Joan you will always be with me in my heart. I never thought this day would come when we wouldn’t have each other. You always confided in me and reminded me of things that happened when I was younger. We laughed and shared so many experiences. Our love for LBI and Cape May held us together, all the trips we took to New England on our bus tours, I’ll always cherish. We occasionally laughed. about our trip to the Berkshire’s in Massachusetts where the sun shined everyday but come 5 o’clock it would snow as we were going to the dining room for dinner. Snow like crazy all night for the skiers and morning come, sun be shining like it was all a dream. Wish this was a dream but it isn’ in peace my best friend, I’ll miss you. “Your favorite niece” Betty

Judy- my thoughts are with you. I enjoyed visiting with Joan and encouraging her shenanigans 😉 You did more for her than any daughter could and I know she was aware of it and loved you for it because she told me so. I hope you both can get some rest now.

I am so sorry to hear of Aunt Joan's passing. She was very kind to me when I was younger when I visited the beach house. I will always remember her being so nice to me. Rest assured that she is with God and he is embracing her. She is Rejoicing. Thinking of the Lincoln Family.

My condolences to the Lincoln families. I'm sorry to hear about the loss of dear Joan. Some Bible scriptures that have helped me during times of loss include Isaiah 26:19 and Psalm 37:28,29 which states in part: "Your dead ones will live...They will rise up". And the Bible also says "The righteous themselves will possess the earth and they will forever reside upon it". Therefore the Bible promises that we may be reunited with our loved ones lost in death by means of an earthly resurrection. This is further confirmed by John 5:28,29 which says "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". This is possible thanks to Jesus Christ's ransom sacrifice. Thus we have a genuine hope of everlasting life in a world without wickedness or suffering.
