Obituary

Catherine A Phillips, 78 of Secane, PA, died Saturday June 6, 2020 in the Bryn Mawr Hospital, Bryn Mawr, PA.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles H and the late Antonia (Tzap) Miller. Catherine graduated in 1959 from Roxborough High School. She worked for the PA Railroad and lived in Secane for the past 53 years.

Catherine was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed nature, especially the wildlife. She loved all animals. She cared daily for the birds and squirrels outside of her home. Catherine especially loved "her boys", L.J. and Winston, her cats. Catherine spent much of her free time loving and feeding homeless cats .Catherine enjoyed spending time at her shore home in Cape May Court House, NJ.

Predeceased by her brother Charles A. Miller.

Survived by her husband of 56 years Robert C Phillips, daughter: Catherine Ann Lesko and son in law Thomas Martin Lesko, and her Grandcat, GracieMae. Catherine was also survived by Elizabeth Phillips (late Raymond), Robert Davis (late Dorothy), Mario and Susan DiTanno and many nieces and nephews.

Due to the current situation Catherine’s service and burial will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be sent to Animal Coalition of Delaware County 3553 West Chester Pk # 144 Newton Square, PA 19073.

God brought home one of his top Angels. Mrs Phillips was a pure genuine woman, another Mother to me. I think about all the places she and Mr. Phillips allowed me to tag alone to with Cathy when we were young. You will be so very missed. Your "boys" and all if the other animals in the yard are going to miss you. Thank you for being you :) I love you đŸ’—
