Obituary

Alfred Del Ferro, 89 of Morton, PA, died Thursday February 6, 2020 in the Lankenau Hospital, Wynnewood, PA.

Born in Norristown, PA., he was the son of the late Joseph and the late Angela (Compopiano) DelFerro.

AL retired in 1991 from General Electric as a Switch Gear Operator
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus , Our Lady of Good Council 4146 Knights of Columbus, and enjoyed his role in aiding in the development of its first Credit Union.
Al was an active OLPH parish member, including serving in roles in the Home & School Association & CYO. He loved coordinating an annual parish bus trip to Padre Pio shrine and tending to the convent flowers. He also participated in rejuvenation of the Morton Aquatic Swim Club.

Al’s passions included being an enthusiastic hub for family information and gatherings, gardening, traveling with his wife and friends, hosting festive gatherings, volunteering for Fr. Chuck’s Challenge

Predeceased by his his loving wife Peggy (née Boyle) Del Ferro, brother Nunzio and sister Evelina.

Survived by his children Judy Sweisford, Joan Meighan, John, Jean and Joe DelFerro, his grandchildren Shane, Kari, Nora, Kati, Kasi, Kiera, Joey and Jake and his brother

Visitation will be Sunday Feb 9,2020 from 6-8pm and Monday Feb 10, 2020 from 10am-10:45am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 2130 Franklin Ave, Morton, PA.

Funeral Mass will be held Monday at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.

Interment will be private in Saint Patricks Cemetery, Norristown.
